OFF-ROAD CANADA – Warranty Policy

At Off-Road Canada™, we take pride in offering high-quality automotive products and exceptional service. While most items we sell include a manufacturer’s warranty, our warranty assistance is provided at our discretion and is generally limited to one (1) year from the original date of purchase — regardless of any longer coverage offered by the manufacturer.

In certain cases, Off-Road Canada™ may consider warranty support beyond one year; however, this is entirely at our discretion and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

1. Our Role in Warranty Assistance

Off-Road Canada™ may act as a point of contact for warranty claims on products purchased directly from us. When applicable, we will help communicate with the manufacturer to assist with your claim. However, some warranties require customers to deal directly with the manufacturer. If this occurs, we will still support you by re-providing proof of payment, invoices, order details, or documentation needed to help you succeed in your claim.
All final warranty decisions — including approval, repair, replacement, or denial — are made solely by the manufacturer, not by Off-Road Canada™.

2. Warranty Coverage Terms

Warranty Period

  • Standard warranty assistance applies for up to one (1) year from the date of purchase.
  • In select situations, claims beyond one year may be reviewed at our discretion.
  • Any assistance provided after one year is a goodwill decision and not a guaranteed obligation.

Discretionary Coverage

Each claim is evaluated individually based on the product type, manufacturer, and support available at the time.

3. What May Be Covered

Subject to approval by the manufacturer, the following may qualify for warranty assistance within the one-year period:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
  • Products or components deemed defective by the manufacturer

4. What Is Not Covered

Off-Road Canada™ does not cover or assist with warranty claims related to:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Rust, corrosion, or environmental exposure (salt, water, etc.)
  • Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs
  • Accidents, impacts, or off-road use beyond the product’s intended purpose
  • Missing, altered, or tampered serial numbers or product labels
  • Any exclusions listed in the manufacturer’s warranty terms
  • Claims made more than one (1) year after the original purchase date unless approved at our discretion

5. Costs and Responsibilities

While we aim to make the process as smooth as possible, please note that Off-Road Canada™ does not cover or reimburse the following:

  • Duties, import fees, brokerage, or customs charges
  • Taxes or service fees
  • Shipping or return freight charges (to or from the manufacturer)

These costs remain the responsibility of the customer unless the manufacturer explicitly agrees to cover them.

Note: Although Off-Road Canada™ is a Canadian-based company, many of the products we sell originate from the United States and other international vendors. As a result, warranty replacements and returns may involve cross-border fees, duties, or third-party logistics beyond our control.

6. Requirements for Warranty Requests

To qualify for warranty assistance:

  • The product must have been purchased directly from Off-Road Canada™
  • A proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be provided
  • Clear photos and serial numbers must be included when possible
  • The claim must be submitted within one (1) year of purchase, unless approved as an exception
  • Inspection, return shipping, or freight costs may be the customer’s responsibility

7. Important Disclaimer

Off-Road Canada™ is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product failure, improper installation, or warranty denial. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or discontinue assistance for any claim at our discretion.
